A student visa (visa category F-1) is a special endorsement added to a government passport issued to students enrolled at a qualified accredited college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high school, elementary school or other academic institution or in a language training program. Student visas are non-immigrant visas that do not require the holder to obtain citizenship. Any prospective student seeking higher education in another country must obtain a student visa from that particular country. For this visa, firstly student must be enrolled at a post-secondary institution of higher learning. The students should have a non-immigrant visa for a temporary stay or an immigrant visa for permanent residence and a student visa. Likewise, the students must follow the rules and regulations of the government of the country where their preferred educational institution is located.
